Monster Truck Night 1-20-07

Shane LOVES Monster Trucks. We took him to a show, and these are the "smaller" versions of the true Monster Trucks like Big Foot and Grave Digger( ok I know the names only because he has all the hot wheel monster trucks, and because Aunt Nicol gave him a DVD about 3 years ago all about Monster Trucks...I am not a Monster Truck groopie or anything :)What things I endure for my baby boy!

He actually took a ride with Chris in the back of one called Kickin and Screamin'. At first he said no he didn't want to, then he saw all the other kids, he practically dragged Chris down the stairs to get there.

LOUD (even with ear plugs( and smelly, and there were some very, ummm let's say unique folks at the show. Shane really liked it, he was hooping and hollerin'.

Is it June yet?

Look Aunt Nicol and Uncle Mike here's Colorado or as Shane says when we put the puzzle together it goes by the buffalo state. He is VERY excited to come play with Uncle Mike...still working on the excited to see baby D part!

Mini Make Over

These are for Nicol and Mike (aka the next great interior designer)
This is the new kitchen counter top, floor, and paint (still a little touch up to do now that the counter top is in)

New stainless steel sink

Counter top close up....isn't it beauuuuutiful.

This is the dining room after the new paint and slider (not pictured). Also we have a new light too, the same one we saw at Lowes in CO.

How cute are they

The boys listening to my hot pink IPOD nano. I had to make a playlist specifically for Shaner's songs so that I didn't have to keep "find it again Mommy" every time a song was over.

Notice his PJ's..he now likes to pick out his own clothes...UGGHH...its OK if we are at home but going to school or out as my sister would say my OCD kicks in about matching :) I guess Spiderman goes with Dinosaurs?

Fight Night

Shane in action with his new boxing set! Notice the pants.....
He LOVES this ( much better than the heavy bag because the bag doesn't move) and of course the army combatives that he and Daddy practice almost nightly. My 5 year old knows how to tap out, what an arm bar is, how to "take his back" etc. Maybe he will be the next Chuck Liddell?

Getting ready to throw a right! Look at those puppies ( what he calls his biceps)!
