Level II Army Combatives Oklahoma City

This is the class photo for the Army Combatives Level 2 course that Chris just completed in April. He came home with no broken bones, just brusied up and old. He did great which is quite an accomplishment for a 38 yr old going against 23 yrs olds with 0% body fat!
We are very proud of him.

May 14- 22 2007

The following pictures were taken during Nicol, Mike and Mallory's visit to MI. We were so excited to meet Mallory! She is just beautiful and precious! I love her to pieces as does her Uncle Chris and cousin Shane. We enjoyed our time together and are looking forward to going to Colorado in June.
We love you guys, thanks for coming!

Pretty Picts

Look at the new dress my Aunt Heather bought...

then she made me try to sit up on this couch and pose for picts! What is up with that?

Awww! How sweet! (my mommy made me wear that hat,,,,,not my idea)

Trying to find my thumb while taking a break on Aunt Heather's lap

A little smile for Papa John

Uncle Dougie ( I know he will love that I called him that!) meets Mallory!

Cuddle time with Aunt Heather!

Feeding time=happy baby!

The Mentos Experiment

Uncle Mike demostrates the Mentos in Diet Coke trick

it was a hit, and was repeated about 4 times

Family Shots

Auntie Heather loves holding her favorite baby girl!

Uncle Chris looks pretty darn good holding a baby girl......darn shame he only makes boys!:)but I guess its good for the bank account so I cant go broke buying girl clothes!

Uncle Mike was such a trooper enduring Shane the whole time. Shane's world was all about Uncle Mike! Thanks for being such a great Uncle!

Auntie Nicol and her favorite handsome nephew holding his cute n cuddley cousin.

Family shot......we're trying this out to see what its like to have another girl in the family. Wishful thinking: I'll just have to borrow Mallory from time to time :)

Chris's new baby

Chris' pride and joy, joined the family in Oct 06

Papa Bill with his grandchildren and great grandchildren

Papa Bill meets Mallory for the first time. He was so happy to see her!

Papa Bill and his great grandchildren 5-14-07. The picture is blurry because it had to be a fast shot since Shane was holding Mallory.

3 generations all together! And neither of the great grandchildren look like their mama's!

Auntie N and Uncle M arrive with Mallory

Shaner is SO happy to see Uncle Mike ( oh yeah and Aunt N and Mallory too!)

We weren't sure how Shane would feel about having a baby around because he has been used to being the #1 source of attention, however after the intial shyness he was GREAT!
He asked to hold her here, and then she started to cry so he wasn't "so sure" but .........

Now she gets her bottle and all is well. He liked feeding her ( we did have to remind him not to shove the bottle in,,,,,but that may be hereditary since I tried to do that to Nicol when she was a baby and I was feeding her:)

The next Tony Hawk or Bam Magera?

Thumbs up! No problem its all good

He's working hard with that one foot. Thank goodness this only lasts about 5 minutes at a time, he isn't coordinated enough yet to have the patience. I can foresee some injuries

Our first Kenny Chesney Concert

As many of you know Shane is a country music nut! He loves just about every song, and especially loves Kenny Chesney. He knows ALL the words to the songs, and gets so excited when he sees a video of him on CMT so when the Flip Flop concert came to GR we just had to take him. It was a blast! We all had a great time, and he puts on an amazing concert! When Kenny Chesney came out on the stage the look of pure excitment and amazement on Shane's face was indescribable.....here was this person who had always just been a voice on the radio or person on TV, and now he is real and right in front of him. Shane was smiling ear to ear...saying "there's kenny, look look there's Kenny!
The ladies behind us loved Shane as we danced and sang the whole night. He was whooping and hollering right along with us.

May 10, 2007 Kenny Chesney Concert

Shane is ready to go..sign, cut sleevless shirt, and cowboy hat! It was too hot to wear his wrangler jeans or he would have!

We're ready to go see Kenny and do some singing and dancin'!

This was before the show started. We had floor seats which were good seats IF we didn't have Shane with us, but I had to hold him for 3 hours so he could see above everyone. No need to work out at the Y the next day after that...he is 52 pounds!

3 hours later he uis sound asleep on the chairs in the concert while Kenny Chesney is still signing. He was out!

Recovery At Ft Custer

Here's an example of one of the MANY courses Chris instructs at Ft Custer.
