Look Daddy I'm Sick

Chris,
This is what 5th's disease looks like on Shane. It's terrible! Red puffy face that looks like someone slapped the doo doo out of him!

Side view. He looks worse than you will after having your face smashed into the mat in combatives.

YUCK! Poor baby!

Shaner hard at work

Shane is concentrating and focused on painting his master piece for his favorite Uncle Mike

Then had to take a break to eat the ears off the chocloate bunny

The Hunt for Eggs

That silly bunny...hiding eggs in the sink!

Chris and Shane hunting eggs outside in the SNOW! Even sunrise service at church was moved indoors!

Preparing for Easter

All smiles, ready to dye those eggs.

Look at those beauuuuuuuuuuutiful eggs.

My two boys! This is what I go through everyday:)

The BIG Girl April 07

Evie at her best....just waking up.

Our Easter Bunny! Poor Evie, subjected to these photo moments.

Evie patiently waits for Shane to leave those Easter baskets ( real eggs in one, plastic in the other 52 total) so she can dig in.

Look how cute they are!

Her expression says it all.. ANOTHER picture?
And yes that is SNOW in the background on Easter morning in Michigan.

The Russian Boar Hunt

Chris and his boar.....and NO the boar head will NOT go on the wall. YUCK

He's so cute

Karate Kid...Wax on Wax off! Acutally its more like UFC posing for his "cage face".

Spolied rotten on Valentine's Day by the Papas and Grandmas. what a smile

Raptors Basketball ITTY BITTY

Here he comes down the court trying (that being the operative word) to dribble. 4 & 5 years olds don't quit get the concept so its a couple dribbles then grab the ball and run down the court.

Look at that form! Our little pro in training!

Hello Mallory Elizabeth

Look at the newest addition to the family compliments of Nicol and Mike! She is just beautiful. Shane and I can't wait to meet her in June. She will be receiving her very first Barbie compliments of Auntie Heather! ( and SO many more to come). Lots of clothes to buy, clothes to change several times a day just like a doll! I can't wait!
The cookie was for the new Mama since she had to abstain during the last couple months of pregnancy!

Itty Bitty Basketball...The Raptors Age 4-5

Shane's first season of basketball. It was hysterical and completely chaotic watching 4 & 5 year olds try to play ball.
Shane LOVES it, has a blast, and loves to stop and wave from the middle of the court.

His new hobby....legos or anything that has to be put together, however he has his rules of course....he tells you how it should be built and watches like a construction foreman.
Our proud little American! Practicing standing at attention.

Shaner and Grandma D. Yep he looks like a Pauch a little bit too!
Look at the concentration and focus on that cute little face! He is working very hard to learn to read ( finally other things than knowing the Target, Meijer, Walmart, Menards, and of course Burger King signs)

Monster Truck Night 1-20-07

Shane LOVES Monster Trucks. We took him to a show, and these are the "smaller" versions of the true Monster Trucks like Big Foot and Grave Digger( ok I know the names only because he has all the hot wheel monster trucks, and because Aunt Nicol gave him a DVD about 3 years ago all about Monster Trucks...I am not a Monster Truck groopie or anything :)What things I endure for my baby boy!

He actually took a ride with Chris in the back of one called Kickin and Screamin'. At first he said no he didn't want to, then he saw all the other kids, he practically dragged Chris down the stairs to get there.

LOUD (even with ear plugs( and smelly, and there were some very, ummm let's say unique folks at the show. Shane really liked it, he was hooping and hollerin'.

Is it June yet?

Look Aunt Nicol and Uncle Mike here's Colorado or as Shane says when we put the puzzle together it goes by the buffalo state. He is VERY excited to come play with Uncle Mike...still working on the excited to see baby D part!

Mini Make Over

These are for Nicol and Mike (aka the next great interior designer)
This is the new kitchen counter top, floor, and paint (still a little touch up to do now that the counter top is in)

New stainless steel sink

Counter top close up....isn't it beauuuuutiful.

This is the dining room after the new paint and slider (not pictured). Also we have a new light too, the same one we saw at Lowes in CO.

How cute are they

The boys listening to my hot pink IPOD nano. I had to make a playlist specifically for Shaner's songs so that I didn't have to keep "find it again Mommy" every time a song was over.

Notice his PJ's..he now likes to pick out his own clothes...UGGHH...its OK if we are at home but going to school or out as my sister would say my OCD kicks in about matching :) I guess Spiderman goes with Dinosaurs?

Fight Night

Shane in action with his new boxing set! Notice the pants.....
He LOVES this ( much better than the heavy bag because the bag doesn't move) and of course the army combatives that he and Daddy practice almost nightly. My 5 year old knows how to tap out, what an arm bar is, how to "take his back" etc. Maybe he will be the next Chuck Liddell?

Getting ready to throw a right! Look at those puppies ( what he calls his biceps)!

Christmas Day end of the day

After a long day of nonstop action and excitement he falls asleep in the car still holding onto his Tipping Tractor game from CARS ( see the left corner). He was out cold

Christmas Day at Grandma D's

Papa Phil and Spiderman. I didn't put these in the right order but when you see the others of Christmas morning you will see I told you he wore it all day long.

Santa left a new guitar at Grandma D's ( Thank Goodness it wasn't a new set of drums)
Uncle Larry is giving lessons

Jessica and Michelle all grown up

Carole and Kathy.

Christmas Morning at the Lisk Household

Shane wrote a letter to Santa with only a couple toys he wanted, and told Santa "to give the other kids who don't have any lots of toys." What a good boy! Santa got his letter AND wrote him back from the North Pole! How does that go: One piece of paper and envelope 1.00, one stamp 39 cents, one trip to the post office to officialy mail the letter 2.24 cents in gas..... watching my 5 year old open his letter from Santa Claus PRICELESS!

He is VERY into Spiderman right now as you will soon see!

Full Spiderman suit..not a costume ( I was corrected more than once) its a suit, and when he is in it his name is NOT Shane. He opened this, stripped off his sleeper right in the middle of the living room, put this on and did not take it off until tubby time at 730pm. Mask and all.

Not Mommy's favorite gift however he is Daddy's boy right now so I was overruled, and I have a heavybag in the basement that I use to workout so now he gets to work out too!
